Synopsis
Set in the dazzling metropolis of Bug City, The Acting Bugs follows Ladybug, Butterfly, Caterpillar, and Beetle—four close friends with Bugway and Buggywoods dreams. After discovering a local acting contest, they rise through mishaps, musical numbers, and mentorship from a quirky agent to chase stardom.
Their path is riddled with hilarious sabotage attempts by the envious duo Mosquito and Wasp, whose clumsy schemes backfire in slapstick fashion. The bugs persevere, overcoming rejection, stage fright, and misunderstandings to finally shine on stage, earning industry respect and an Bugscar nod—culminating in their dream to take their talents to Buggywood.
